We are a 280-member Presbyterian Church (USA) located west of Detroit in a small town near Ann Arbor, Michigan, and are seeking a part-time 25 hour/week Youth Director.
Building upon a current core of twenty-five actively participating youth, the Youth Director will be responsible for the spiritual development process of students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. A secondary but critical emphasis will be on organizing and supporting our existing crew of adult volunteers, and recruiting new volunteers as needed. The Youth Director will also be mindful of Saline Presbyterian’s efforts to be missional in our outreach to the community in ways that tangibly extend the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church.
The successful candidate must relate well to children and adults of all ages, possess good organizational and leadership skills, and be comfortable with current technologies. The Youth Director will be an active member of the church’s leadership team. Youth-oriented experience in a small/medium church is preferred.
