Directed by Leo Babcock, filmed in the First Presbyterian Church of Saline Sanctuary and starring many of your fellow congregants.
Godspell is a vibrant musical retelling of the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus gathers a diverse group of young followers and teaches them through parables, songs, humor, and theatrical performances. As their community grows, the disciples learn lessons about love, forgiveness, compassion, and faith. The story ultimately moves toward Jesus’s betrayal, crucifixion, and the hope of resurrection.
